TLG Motion Pictures announced today that it has reached an agreement with Seattle based production company Screaming Flea Productions on a co-production deal with A&E Networks for the production of five new episodes of the Emmy nominated, hit reality series “Hoarders“.
Production begins January 2018. Air dates for the five episode series have not been announced. The new season will be overseen by series Executive Producer Dave Severson and TLG Motion Pictures founder Courtney LeMarco.
“Hoarders is an iconic show that is known all over the world. We see this as a great opportunity to expand into non-scripted television with a network that has a proven track record of creating popular and compelling content.” said LeMarco.
Hoarders is an American reality television series that depicts the real-life struggles and treatment of people who suffer from compulsive hoarding disorder. The series premiered on August 17, 2009 on A&E. Hoarders was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2011 and won “Best Reality Series” at the 2012 Critics Choice Television Awards.
